Description:
Set in the historical little town of Waterval Boven, this cosy Lodge is self contained and fully self catering, with a well equipped and spotless communal kitchen and a beautiful lapa with braai areas.
After sunset you can relax in the spacious TV Lounge and Tex bar with an old fashioned fire place for the cooler evenings. For those not keen on trout fishing, there is our pool and garden to relax in, or go on a steam train ride or visit several places of interest.
The Lodge, which was the original hotel in Waterval Boven, offers forteen rooms with 35 beds. To further enhance the facilities at Boven Trout Lodge,there is a Restaurant with a la carte menu
Waterval Boven lies amidst one of the best fly fishing areas, with Machadodorp, Belfast and Lydenburg within easy reach from the Lodge. Places of interest to visit on a day trip are Badplaas, Sudwala Caves. Lydenburg Aquarium, Kruger National Park, and many scenic drives.
